Notifications while playing video?

Discus and support Notifications while playing video? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Love the fact that I now get online notifications, but wishing I could turn off the notifications while I'm playing a video, such as Netflix or Amazon....     Notifications while playing video?


    Love the fact that I now get online notifications, but wishing I could turn off the notifications while I'm playing a video, such as Netflix or Amazon. Is this possible? I haven't seen an option like on the 360 that has the ability to 'mute' notifications
    while video is playing. Also not sure how to search these forums... Notifications while playing video? :)

    Xbox one achievement notifications not showing

    The last achievement in game notification i had was 3 days ago since then i've earned another 1,500g's and not 1 has appeared while playing,they show up on my feed but just not in realtime whilst playing the game and yes the notifications are turned on lol..
    just need to know if anyone's had the same problem .

    Achievements notifications not showing

    I'm having the same problem right now. Earned 4 achievements today while playing online and never saw the notification ;(

    Yes, I would really like this feature back from the 360. I'm sure they will add it soon.

    Currently you can't turn off notifications while watching video/TV but I'll take that suggestion back to the team. I was thinking the same thing last night. Notifications while playing video? :)

    Yeah the 360 can do this...it would be a nice option.

    Family Suggestion (FAMILY LIST)

    There are already options available that block notifications from popping up on the screen while playing games or watching videos. They are located on the preference tab on the Xbox guide menu.
