Notifications when someone adds me as a friend?

And i will get a notification if someone adds me as a friend, someone online, and even when someones streaming. But not a invite to a party.

Yes, there is a notification that you can manage when someone follows you.

If you're on a PC, or mobile device simply launch Xbox App then go to settings then "Notifications", you'll see the "Notify me when someone adds me as a friend".

If you're on the Xbox console go to Settings then Preferences under that click on Notifications then Xbox notifications and lastly "new followers".

Well, there is a separate list for friends that you can 'favorite'... I'd say that would be the best logical course for them to add notifications. If you want to only be notified when certain friends come online you could add those friends to the favorites
list. As far as that goes, they could still add the option to turn off those notifications as well.

I get notifications when people add me, but unless I add them back they don't populate my friends list.

At least if your going to accuse MS of not fixing a glitch, post evidence that there is supposed to be a notification.
