Notifications not working.

I'm going to keep it quick and simple - my xbox one literally gives no notifications for like new messages, game/party invoices or friends online. However I am getting notifications for clip recorded, joining a party (actually joining it or friends joining
my party).

Side note, my smartglass app on my iPhone is receiving notifications for new messages.

So after the April update I went into settings and changed notifications to all friends but I dont get notifications saying people are online/what they are playing etc. I have tried adding people to faves still nothing. Also tried hard reboot, removing power
cable, power block, mains plug all that and nothing.

 

Are you in the preview programe? I ask because I know a friend of mine who is has been having issues with notifications.

Other than that I would just suggest the obvious, check settings, make sure notifications etc are all ok

Try power cycling the console, when the console is on, hold the power button on machine until it shuts down, unplug power lead from back of console, wait 5 minutes, plug back in, fire it up and see if that fixes it

I've got this issue too. A temp fix seems to be to turn all notification settings OFF, remove your account from the xbox and hard reset (as Lofty detailed above). Turn back on and re add your account then turn all settings back ON.

Sometimes notifications will not " pop up " even when enabled (from MY experience), but for the most part they work well (the " pop up " notifications).
