Notifications not working, please help (game invites, party invites, achievements)

So for the past couple of day I've been having a problem getting notifications. When I go home and go to notifications at the top, it is completely full of old notification that would normally be gone every time I log in. I cannot receive party invites
nor game invites. Really hard to play with friends. I have all notifications on, a great open connection and xbox live gold. I have tried everything to resolve this issue by doing multiple hard resets, I also tried removing my account off the xbox one and
bring it back and still no change. I have no idea what to try now as it might seem to be a xbox live problem. If anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can't receive notifications! Miss out on games!

i can't get notifications. No party invites. No game invites. No warning when I get a message. Please help!

 

Not receiving invites

Can I please get help? Whenever my friends invite me to a game I don't get the invite. I can invite my friends to the party, but I never get any notifications or invites and it's really frustrating.

 

Anyone please. I've noticed this was a xbox live problem a year ago and have tryed everything it said to fix it and nothing.. I have friends inviting me and would like to play with them but don't get any invites whatsoever.

 

I am having the same issue, despite my NAT type being open i cannot receive invites or send them, incredibly annoying

I am definitely getting the notification as they flash up on my PC with windows 10

 

Xbox please find a fix for this, I'm not the only person with this issue I'm starting to find

 

I have the same problem yesterday night and still not working today. did everything, hard reset, rebooted my xbox, all that. I only see messages from smartglass on my phone. hopefully it is xbox live

 

Yes I'm having the same issues as well as another guy I found on here. We have tried every possible fix as well. Power cycling, removing and re-adding the profile in different ways, turning notifications off and back on, even resetting the xbox to factory
default. Nothing has worked. This is NOT a hardware issue, as the other guy has gotten the SAME problem with a new xbox one. This is a software issue.

Not receiving notifications for party/game invites or messages/achievements, or pretty much anything else. Also for some odd reason I am unable to change "Sign in & broadcasts" from followers. in the Preference > Notifications menu. When I try, it says "Try
again - There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again."

If you're having those same issues.. I have found from both googling this issue and talking to 5 different customer support agents at Microsoft. They say that this is a preview program glitch and there is currently no fix for it at this time. Even if you
didn't participate in the preview program you may have been invited but never got the message to go to a link.

We need to spread this issue so that we can find a fix for this. It really hinders those of us who have lots of friends that invite us.. or find sites to play with random people who can't invite us unless they friend us so we can manually join them.

Sorry to hear about the issue with not receiving notifications! If you haven't already, I recommend running through a few troubleshooting steps. I understand that some of you have already went through the listed steps, but we want to make sure that all of
you have tried them.

• First, make sure that you have have notifications enabled by checking your Xbox One Console Preferences.
  
• Once you have verified that you have notifications enabled, Remove your account from your Xbox One console.
  
• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console has powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait a few minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and Download your account to your Xbox One console.
  
• Try having a friend send you a Party Chat invite and check to see if you are able to receive it.
  

If the issue is continuing to occur after trying the listed steps, please let us know the following information:

• When was the last time you were able to receive notifications?
• Are you participating in the Preview Program?

We have already done all the things you have listed. I talked to 5 support reps who told me what and how to do each one. No I am not a participating member of the preview program but a very SMALL few of your piers know that it's an issue happening to us
whether we participated in it or not.

 

I just want to throw an update in here. As of 9/25/2015 9AM EST I started receiving message notifications again. So I checked if I can change my "Sign in and broadcasts" and was able to. I then held my xbox power button down for 5-10 secs until my xbox turned
off and turned it back on. I was able to receive both party/game invites messages, onlines, ect. Everything seems to be working for me again.

I'm sorry if I have caused any trouble looking for a solution to this, but when you can't get things done because of small glitches like that it becomes an issue. I hope everyone else has their notifications fixed as well.

I'm having the same issue. - I can send and receive messages, but I do not get notifications, party or game invites. I've tried the steps you outline above removal/hard reset/download to no avail. I am not a preview customer to my knowledge. I had notifications
yesterday 6/21/16 but not today. What u got?
