    Notifications not clearing permanently, reappear after reboot


    Hi, I had someone add me to their friend's list a week ago, and I got a notification letting me know this, so I added them, and cleared the notification. Now every time I reboot my console, or whenever I turn it back on, I get a new notification that they
    have added me to their friends list. This has also happened with someone else I met a few days back, so now I have 2 notifications that pop up as soon as I start my Xbox, and I have to go and clear them manually again... Anyone else have this issue, or know
    how to fix it?

    Star on the top right corner of an app..?

    It indicates the app or game has been updated since last used. Not working 100% just yet as stars reappear after a console reboot. The stars can be any colour depending on your chosen theme colour.

    Clearing Notifications

    All I do is click on the tab at the top left to enter them and then it close.

    That clears them out.

    Hey there. Try opening the guide, going to the Settings tab, and choosing Restart console. When it reboots, clear the notifications and see if they reappear. If you're still having a problem, go to Settings, All settings, Account, Remove accounts and remove
    yours. Only do this if you know your email and password for your account. When it's removed, reboot from the guide again. After this reboot, open the guide, go up, left to Add & manage, enter your account details, and re-download your account.

    Black screen on load up. (HDMI to DVI, Display Discovery)

    Turn on the display discovery, reboot.

    Clear system cache.

    Turn off the display discovery, reboot.

    The HDTV menu should reappear and you can re-set it properly.

    This worked for me

    Unpin Bloatware from Taskbar

    It's the Game Bar, but after I unpin it and reboot my system the app reappears on the Taskbar, that's the whole issue. I don't want it to come back.
