    Notifications issues


    So, I'm not exactly sure why this started happening to me but, my xbox seems to have some weird glitch or bug of sorts where I cannot receive any invites or notifications of any kind. I have tried turning off and re-activating the notifications system and
    rebooting my xbox but, the problem is persisting and it is unclear why. I'm trying to get help for this problem but, unfortunately everyone I've talked to has no idea why this is happening either. Seems as if the problem came out of nowhere and no one seems
    to know what is happening. Any ideas?

    Check your notifications. I've had recent issues with games not popping up and when I check notifications there's a boat load there

    Hey Norby!

    First solution I suggest trying is similar to what you have already tried. Navigate to your Notification settings again to disable them, but before re-enabling notifications, power cycle your Xbox One console by holding the power button until it fully powers
    down. Once this is done, power back up and enable notifications and see if that resolves the issue.

    If that doesn't work, try
    Removing your Xbox Live profile     and signing it back in.

    Try those two solutions out and let us know how it goes!

    Hey there TPrach,

    Sorry to hear about the notification problem. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console? Have you tried to remove your profile from the console and re-add it
    to see if that helped?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

    Check if you have this account still listed as friend and if you have send it messages lately

    In the future remember to not use other gtags in the forums
    Sorry about using other gamertags but I don't see how else this issue could have been addressed. Is there another way to get information to the moderators in addition to reporting via the console? I don't have him listed as a friend. I've only sent him one
    message since winter 2018 (which was 3 weeks ago) warning him about this. Thank you.

    I haven't tried them yet mate as most of mine are turned off but judging by the sound of your description it would be nice if they offered "small, medium, large" notifications for the user to choose from.
