Notifications Issue - After Clearing, They Continue To Pop Up

I am having an issue where even after clearing my notifications, upon resetting my Xbox, they continue to show up. I continue to see a specific message that someone left on one of my videos, and even after erasing it, it continues to show. Additionally,
I see about 13 other messages where friends have liked me getting an achievement, and those won't disappear either.

I have tried both the Xbox apps on my phone, PC, and the Xbox One as well. So far, no success.

Notifications not working

I have my notifications turned on and all the settings for them to pop up checked. But I’m not receiving any notification pop up or anything in the notification tab. What do I do to resolve this issue?

Have you tried doing a hard reset on your console? Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely. Let it sit for a couple of minutes then restart it. See if that resolves the issue.

Yes, I have done many hard resets. During the NXOE beta, I had to do a hard reset everyday. I still have the issue.

Hi ZeroSSB1423! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

Can you try these steps to see if they solve this error?

1- First open the notifications tab in the console and make sure to clear all the notifications you see, so we can start again.
2- Disable all notifications on the Xbox One console.
3- Delete your profile from the console.
4- Turn off and on the Xbox One console.
5- Re-add your profile and turn on notifications, then test to see if notifications appear again.

However, if you still don't receive invitations, try Soft Factory Rest by selecting Reset and keep my games and apps. This will update the operating system and remove all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Let me know if this works.

Hey there Burdmayn,

We've not seen many reports of this type of issue, but are you seeing any notifications at all? If you check in your notifications section are you seeing new ones listed? If you clear those out are you able to see new notifications pop up?

Sorry for the late reply, don't worry the "Continue" button is only if a pop-up notification appeared to give you access
