Notifications During DVD/Blu-Ray Playback

Apologies if this is obvious or has been answered before but I have tried searching forums and the internet with no luck, as well as exploring the actual system settings.

How do you disable notifications whilst you are watching a DVD or Blu-Ray (probably also applies to digital such as Netflix and stuff too)???

Like I say I cannot find anything in teh settings similar to that of the 360 to disable whilst watching a DVD, and setting my status to appear offline doesn't do it either. At this point signing out completely seems the only way to do it but that is a little
extreme for my liking!

Any ideas?!

Xbox One: Blu-ray and DVD movies

I would check out the Xbox page for Blu-ray playback regarding regions. But yes, your Xbox One can certainly play DVD and Blu-ray movies.

 

Media Remote Menu Button During DVD/Blue-Ray Playback

While playing a DVD or Blu-Ray on my Xbox One the menu key (3 lines stacked on each other) on an XB1 controller will bring up the DVD/Blu-Ray Menu. The same button on the new media remote does nothing during DVD/Blu-Ray playback. Is this a bug with the remote?
Do I have a faulty remote? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Settings>Preferences

At present you would have to disable all the notifications manually when you're about to watch a film, but at least you can toggle some off and leave others on.

 

Yeah that is a solution but seems overkill somewhat. This was a standard setting on the 360 and I see no reason why the same can't be applied here. In fact it makes more sense to sign out than disable before and enable after each film you watch.
