Notifications are no longer making sounds, whether it’s a party invite or group post.

I noticed the same issue after a recent update to the app. There is simply no longer an option to receive party invite notifications in the notification settings of the app.

I'm having the same issue. No longer get notifications when a friend comes online, no party invites or game invites, nothing. Hope it gets fixed soon.

YES. When I start a party.....please assume that I would like to talk and not have to manually join party chat!! ALSO... when I invite a friend.....just send the invite....why do I have to check mark them THEN invite them.....extra steps that are not needed.

Friend notifications....PLEASE bring them back.... No I do not want 1000 pop ups (no I, or very few of us are going to have 1000 friends) BUT Either:

set it so friends in favorites only get notifications With ON/OFF toggle

or

In each friend on your list...choose whether you would like a notification when they come on line or not.

also just be able to say" xbox turn off/on notifications at any time.... sounds simple to me

This is actually a normal feature for party/game invites where they expire after a set amount of time. I've seen this happen many times if at times I want to play solo and forget to put my status offline, I'll get some party or game invites and generally
will ignore it until I switch my status and every time the invitation expires when I open up the menu, unless I open the menu shortly after missing the notification then it's there. I think it also depends on whether the invitation is still available for you
to join, for example if let's say the person who invited you starts a new multiplayer lobby or party chat lobby, then the invitation will expire as this will require a new invitation since the previous invitation was to the previous lobby that is no longer
open.

If the invitation is expiring almost immediately after opening the menu when you miss the notification, then that is not normal. It usually takes some time to expire or until the person who invites you starts the game or opens up any new lobbies.

Let us know with more information how long it takes for the invitation to disappear and if the person inviting you is making any new lobbies.

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.
