notification sticks

I have not found anything on this but was wondering if anyone else has this issue also. when an achievement or notification pops up it takes forever for it to go away.

Xbox One Notification Globe Missing

Hi, I believe the globe you refer to was removed and was replaced with the notifications option, from the home screen press left once on the dpad or thumb stick and the notification icon is third from the bottom.

 

Making the UI / Notification system about 90% better

so i've had this idea for a long time after friends telling me the one notification system is really annoying. a perfect fix for this specific situation would be to move all notifications to the top right hand corner of the screen, this includes friends
online, any messages and achievements as well. to access the menu should be a button press of the left thumb stick. this leaves the xbox home button still available. .. once the left thumb stick has been pressed the notification system opens a side window
as to not disrupt your movie/game as much.

 

Approximately how long is forever? Have you tried holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? Perhaps that will fix the issue.

 

I get this problem too, and while a hard reboot of the system does fix it, it was never a problem before a couple of updates or so ago, and having to do this is just a nuisance. I would hope that while it's clearly affecting a minority, that it's fixed all
the same.

 

The last notification took about 7 mins to go away. I hope it does get fixed soon.
