Notification sounds not working Series X

    Notification sounds not working Series X


    I got an Xbox Series X and I'm not sure if it was right away or a few days later but my notifications stopped working, they aren't dinging anymore. Party invites, achievements, nothing. It was working fine on my Xbox One and then I set up my Series X when
    it came out. It's not my TV or headset, and is just the notifications. I saw some people had this problem a couple years ago, so it's not just something with the Series X?

    Achievement earn fine but not popping on screen

    Hi I've tried reset options on my xbox one s and one x it worked but xbox series consoles do not work so i tried offline system update on series x it's worked only for one day i earn achievements in Forza Horizon 5 hot wheels dlc but in the next day it didn't worked no notification or sound anything,so i tried my friend xbox series x this same problem happening looks like it's a Microsoft side issue.

    Not getting notifications when friends get online.

    Same problem here! Both Series X and S. Friends come online and no notifications.

    xbox game pass wont stop messages about payment. even after it is restored.

    This fix does not cover either of my xbox series x, or xbox one x. Neither of them show this path in system. no profile or notifications.

    Some recent backwards compatible Xbox 360 downloads don't correctly recognize ownership on Xbox One and Series X/S consoles.

    Yesterday when starting my XBox Series X I got a notification that Time Pilot is ready to be started. I had it installed previously, but couldn't play it (see above).

    Because of the notification I tried to start it again and now it works!! I can start and play Time Pilot now on the XBox Series X and the problem is fixed for me.

    Maybe the problem is fixed for the other games too. Please check them.

    Not getting notifications on Xbox app

    I was going to say the same thing. I'm not getting notifications on my Android app, my Xbox Series X, One X, or One S. Yet they claim all their services are up. At first I thought maybe it was because I was on the inside a ring (maybe from a bug in the OS), but I noticed that it is service wide. This isn't the first time notifications of stopped working. So maybe we'll get fixed?
