Notification saying “to play this, you’ll need to buy it”

I preordered the cross gen version of COD black ops cold war a while ago and was able to play the beta and i also have been playing it evey day since its full release infact i have also made a ingame purchase aswell. But today after work when i tried to
hop on i was greated with a notification stating, “To play this, you’ll need to buy it” and i was immediately flustered. I have had this same issue with minecraft in the past and was unable to resolve it so i just decided to buy the game again but the version
of cold war i bought was $70 and i dont feel like dropping that much money on a game i have already bought. I have tried signing out my account, restarting my xbox, making the xbox im playing on my home xbox and have tried using xbox assist and nothing has
worked. Someone please help me resolve this issue (EDIT) i also just looked at my purchase history and selected cold war and under status it says “Failed” which is most certainly false because i was definitely charged and have been playing the game with no
issues untill now.)
