I am wondering if there is a way to get rid of the above notification, since I have updated the credit card information. I have tried re- logging in and re-installing but to no avail. Does any one else have this problem?

    :)

Notification in Xbox app (for pc) :" Your credit card is about to expire! " wont go away, even after updating credit card information!

This doesn't hide the fact that there is a bug somewhere and that end users shouldn't have to do this.

This has been mentioned in this forum a few times and it still shows the same thing for me. It's been like it for over a year now and I just presumed the pandemic was reason it wasn't fixed yet.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Notification in Xbox app (for pc) :" Your credit card is about to expire! " wont go away, even after updating credit card information!

Hi there Timothy! Christopher here, an Xbox fan and been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. A lot of users are having this issue! And there might be a workaround. After my similar issue I turned off recurring billing. A few days later I opened the app and bang, no more notification. I have since re-added recurring billing and (so far) no notification.

So one of two things happened: Either my angry review of the csr I had earlier caused somebody to flip a switch (unlikely). Or there's some sort of timer involved and you need to deactivate recurring billing for a bit (For me it was couple of days before I noticed. Could be sooner.) and then reactivate it.

    Hope this helps.

Xbox App PC - Your credit card is about to expire

Same problem here and apparently Microsoft don't bother to give an answer. Not a big issue, just annoying having that big green notification on the top of the screen.
