Notification/Achievement Pops

Hello,

I've been having an issue where i receive a notification such as a friend logging online or an achievement pop and it will not go away until I interact with it by holding the home button or saying "show notifications."

This is a problem, especially with online multiplayer games, because I am forced to pause the game just to interact with the pop just so that I can see that bottom section of the screen (which usually results in me dying or missing an opportunity to get
a kill). Also, if i'm recording content for youtube, this makes the editing process more difficult as I now have to cut out me pulling up the notification just to clear it off of the screen.

Is there a fix for this? If not could the Xbox team look into adding an option where we can choose how long the pop stays up? Or even just have it back to what it used to do which is disappear after a few seconds.

Achievements in different language

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (Download Version) : English notification pops, but Achievement App shows achievements in German. Using preview dashboard.

 

Achievement notification changed?

The rectangular notification pops up for friends coming online, invites, and that kind of stuff. Achievements are rounded.

 

It's not supposed to be doing that, so could you try a power cycle (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) of your console and see if that rectifies the issue?

Having the same issue...power cycle hasnt helped

 

Have you tried unplugging the console at the mains and leaving it for ten mins?

or even turn notification off
