i love how people are having problems with the X1 console (myself included)and come on here for advise+help and then mods lock and remove threads with out a reasonable answer !!!

Censorship? I practice censorship all the time, by limiting who can speak with me and who can send me messages on XBox Live. Is it censorship that your bio must be "E" rated?

American censorship. Here in Canada it's generally the other way around. Our media is leery towards violence issues, but 'S' stuff nobody really cares.

Most of the time, threads get locked or removed for a handful of reasons - it could be a duplicate of another issue; it also happens often that a person will reply to a VERY old thread with a new issue, so a mod will reply saying to start a fresh thread
with their issue, then lock the thread.

Also, sometimes people who are understandably upset with their problem tend to forget forum etiquette. While they have every right to post a problem for help, they don't have a right to swear every other word in their post, or to flame people who respond
with suggestions which don't happen to work out. Threads which are abusive or overly profane will be locked and/or removed by mods, to maintain forum integrity.

Not saying that's what happened in your case, but those are just a few of the reasons.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have questions on censorship. In languages words have different meanings. A word that is innocent here in the USA might be different in other countries. You will need to reach out yo the developers
of Rocket League for their censorship guidelines.

Remember the 2009 version of Wolfenstein? It had all the Nazi symbols edited out but it got recalled when it was noticed that a symbol slipped through.

Here's a pic of the sole offender in the game. The game was recalled and never released there. Now that's some heavy-handed censorship! You'd have to be looking for that symbol to find it there!

Apparently the Nazi symbol is banned in video games because Germany categorises them as toys, even the ones with mature ratings. You can't display the symbol on toys.

Maybe when Germany catches up and puts video games in the same category as movies and TV shows... things'll improve in terms of games actually being released there, and censorship being dialled back... a lil bit.

Just a smidge - mind you. {=D
