Ive been having issues , for a couple of hours i was not able to use any application or games. My games and application was getting a freeze screen and the only button that was working in that situation was the home button which is useless by itself
. I closed my xbox , I unpluged my power bar a couple of times and nothing changes .I cant even go in my settings to see what is going on . I need help , I need to know if its a question of time or a question of I need to go talk to my Sony friends out
there .

Hi Carl,

I'm sorry to hear the issue is still persisting. Since you have already done a factory reset and you've power cycled the power supply, you will need to try what's called a offline system update. Follow this guide to help you through it:

Do you plug the Xbox into a surge protector power strip? If you do then that may be the root cause of the issue. Plug it into a wall outlet if you can.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

As a side note, does it only freeze or do you ever get some kind of error code?

I would suggest trying a factor reset.
