    Nothing works!


    Please help! I'm on preview programme. Got new dashboard yesterday and was working fine. Today, whenever I select an app from my dashboard I receive an error. Code 0x8000000b. EVERYTHING I click on gives this error. I can freely move across the tabs left
    and right on the dashboard, up and down through the apps. But whatever option I choose gives the error, even when I click "feedback" on the error page!!! I cannot access the far left tab either so am unable to open the settings on the console. Kinect will
    sign me in but I cannot do it manually as cannot access the new guide to select "sign in". I've been on the phone for 40 minutes with your support team trying various different reboot methods, hard reset etc. Nothing fixes this. I've also contacted support
    via Twitter providing screenshots of the error and of your website stating it has no record of the error code I'm receiving. I've had no response. Gamer tag is "X disks stu". Someone please help, this is extremely frustrating.

    I uninstalled wargames and spartan ops and reinstalled them

    Have you tried uninstalling the MP Disc (2) and reinstalling that during the process?

    Nothing works!

    I suggest contacting Xbox support as this could be an operating system issue

    Hey disko! Sorry to hear you are having problems. But we ask that for anything related to the Preview Program Updates that you post here in the Preview Forums, there they can get you the help you need. ->

    And when I've been scrolling through lately, I've noticed a lot of people having this same or similar issue. I would go search around other posts and see if anyone has found a work-around or fix!

    Thanks for the response. I posted on the other forum as well. I've done a factory reset using the USB method. It worked and I'm currently re-installing the content that was wiped from the hard drive during the reset.

    There are a lot of possible reasons why the Xbox app is now working. One of which is having a corrupted app file. To help you resolve this concern, we need to gather more details. Kindly verify the following:

    When did the issue start?

    Are you getting any error messages when trying to access the app?

    Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this concern?

    What are the troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app?

    i had this problem to it seems that no one can sign in with xbox live although thousands are slowly getting back online including me i estimate by about 7:00 western time it should work.

    Sorry for any issues you are having due to the Service alert. Looks like the service alert has been resolved.
    Please power cycle your console and
    see if it is back to normal when it comes up.

    Sorry for any issues you are having due to the Service alert. There is currently a service alert for core services, which is affecting signing in.
    What you can do is get notified once the alert is over. Visit our
    Xbox live status site
    and click on "Notify me" to receive a text message once this all blows over. Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.

    The server status site is also having issues due to the service alert so please be patient n all this until it is resolved.
