Nothing Works after update

This all started after the last update. Every single time I put my xbox into hibernate mode for more than a couple hours and turn it back on not a *** thing works. I can't access settings, games, apps, it doesn't hardly even respond to voice commands. If
I unplug the power source and reboot it that way everything works fine. I contacted support yesterday about this issue and they gave me a couple solutions but I tried them after unplugging the power source so the results were inaccurate. Any one at all having
this same issue?

Hey there i7b!

First of all. Are you able to make a direct connecting to the router (if this is possible)? How have you set up your PC to share the internet connection, ICS or bridge? Do you have any personal firewall on your PC?

I've heard of a few people experiencing a similar sounding issue at the moment and that MS are looking into it.

Two work arounds I have heard of are to highlight setting in guide and use the restart console option when performance slows down or to change the console settings from instant on to Power save mode.

If you follow either of the two tips above you should not need to unplug the console to get it working.

I have had 2 glitches since the new update.Machine froze then reset itself.And I was playing a game and the screen went black for a few seconds.Then came back on.

Ive never had 1 issue before and Ive had the console for 2 years.

I've solved it! When it is in the queue, cancel the update. It will not cancel for a while so it may not seem to work at first, but after a while it will disappear from the update queue. If it still says it needs an update, uninstall it. This also appears to do nothing at first but again, after a while it will work. From there, just reinstall and it should work. It takes quite a while and seems to do nothing at first but there is quite a simple solution.

I also have same problem "after update", my chat pad's oran light keep blinking. but this xbox app still show's nothing to update. Game pad working fine but chat pad doesn't working after update this stupid firmware!!!
