Nothing Working on Xbox One?????

I preordered the Titanfall Xbox One bundle, got it yesterday. Set up the Xbox that evening, waited for it to update the mandatory update and install it, configured my Kinect and all that and then went to install Titanfall. It downloaded fairly quickly,
started the install about 1 AM and it has been installing all day while I was at work. It's only at 67%. Since I have been home for about six hours it has moved 1% in the installation process. I realized that Xbox live and EA were having issues that maybe
was why I couldn't get Titanfall to work. So I went and rented a copy of Dead Rising 3, it installed then stated there was an update. I apparently have to update in order to play so I chose update, it downloaded (again) quickly and now is sitting at installing
not showing any percentage. Now it's flipping between Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 installing neither of which are going anywhere. I tried power cycling, I tried turning off my console and unplugging it, I checked my own internet, I tried uninstalling Dead
Rising 3 and then reinstalling it, I tried just turning off my console by holding the Xbox button on the controller and selecting turn off console, I even tried talking to Microsoft's customer support in which I clearly got soemone who does not speak English
natively because I left the conversation more confused than anything with answers such as "But do not it is now on the full progress." when I asked if there were any troubleshooting things I could try. I sat for 10 minutes with customer service stating what
my issue was and then that person stating it is good I came to them and then no advice or answer about why these issues are happening. I also attempted to disconenct my console from the internet because that's what several pages said to do if installing didn't
work for disc based games but it seems it's hung up on installing a mandatory update (for Dead Rising 3). My understanding was you were able to play your games which they downloaded/installed but it seems my only options for both are either uninstall or view
details neither of which yield play game. Any advice on what to do, why I literally cannot do any gaming on my console, or how maybe I can at least play a disc based game? This is ridiculous. I really did EXPECT issues from Titanfall's launch because it was
so popular but I have never encountered so many issues that are unresolvable and customer support cannot even TRY to help me with.

At this point a factory reset is probably the best suggestion.

If you are ready to reset your console to the factory default settings, follow these steps:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Select System.

Select Console info & updates.

Select Restore factory defaults.

Read the warning message, and then select Yes.

You could try the solution above or contact Xbox support they may be able to determine if your console is faulty if that's the case hope that your warranty is in date they will offer you a replacement if you have a sticker machine or a printer you can use
the pre paid sticker that they will give you alternatively you could contact where you bought the Xbox one from explain to them your console is faulty and you need a replacement again make sure your warranty is in date. Hope this helps

 

Yup same issues here. Couldn't do anything yesterday because of the connecting issues, now today i finally get in, and Titanfall sits there installing forever. and ever. and ever. It's now sitting at a whopping 5%. Way to go on the launch of this game and
the Titanfall pack, another day of this garbage it'll be on it's way to epic failure status. Did i make a huge mistake going with xbox one? Maybe so.

 

They way I fixed this problem was restoring my Xbox One.

 

I would recommend trying a hard reset on your Xbox One consoles, as many seem to have done that and it has worked for them.

 

Same with me except I can't play titanfall or nba2k. I stupidly tried to update my 2k and it was going good but suddenly it stopped at 45%. I've factory reset my xbox and I'd rather not delete everything again. Any feedback would be great. I just got my
xbox and I'm starting to regret it.

 

Dead Rising 3 has a 13gb update before it installs the game onto the hard drive. That could explain why it took so long to install DR3...
