nothing working correctly except TV

my issue started about 3 days ago with the kinect. I tried to do a work out in xbox fitness and it was super laggy so when I went into the settings to re-calibrate the kinect there was no audio for the sound portion. since that time however the entire counsel
is super slow to launch and frequently kicks me out of whatever I am doing back to the home page.

I have tried multiple hard resets (with and without unplugging the kinect), is this something that is fixable?

TV Passthrough on Xbox One No Longer Works

I had the same problem as Joe Mamma 77. The Xbox worked great for turning on/off all devices, but suddenly stopped working correctly today. I could tell that it happened when I powered down the last time because it turned off everything except the receiver.
It made me think that it quit working when going through the device power down sequence. I turned it back on several hours later and the TV app stopped working. Even the settings wouldn't load for the TV & One Guide. Also, my Xbox One was updated on Tuesday,
so it's been a few days on the new code.

I followed the trouble shooting wizard and it did not help.

again all of my issues center around the kinect sensor. it turns itself on and off at random moments and if I try to re-calibrate I have video but there's no audio for the mic or speakers.

Depending on what the outcome is, the support articles will always say "If that didn't work, try this __________" Please give those options a try. For kinect trouble, please see these support articles:

Again, the support article will ALWAYS say "If that doesn't work, try this" rather it's a repair or something else.

I appreciate your help however I had already looked at these articles before posting to the forum (followed the suggestions to no avail and looks like my only option is repair at this point).

Just wanted to pick your brain to see if anyone else had reported this issue.

 

ok so I unplugged the kinect sensor so I can return it for repair and now my xb1 just goes to black after spending about 15 minutes in the start up screen.....
