through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:



Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 30 Seconds, re-plug them back again, then restart your console to check if it's
installing this time.

Sorry to hear that. Try using a different network instead and see how it goes since this is happening to both Xbox consoles you have. You can try using mobile data hotspot too just to see if that makes any difference.

I understand you need help with your installation issue.

Let's refresh the console's system cache and see if this can help.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

It only spins for a few minutes. But it evntaully stops spinning. Dark Souls also does this. If it doesn't stop, then idk what to tell you. For me it usually stops spinning after 3 - 5 minutes.
