Nothing to do but wait I guess

Seems to be the only thing I can do.

My Xbox is just a useless machine to me now. I wish that I can go back in time to when I could opt out of the NXOE update but the Preview Program was good to me so I didn't do anything about it and continued playing my games, watching TVNetflix/youtube,
etc.

When it updated took me a while to get used to things and then I was back to my daily routine of gaming and binge watching. But now I can't even play a game longer than 10mins before it freezes and the whole system is unresponsive for like maybe 30mins and
then responds.

I've hard reset and had to factory reset once during the whole 'green screen of death' that we were calling it in the forums.

Unfortunately it seems my only option again is to factory reset but I want to wait it out since I was just going through the forums and read that there is a new update rolling through this week it seems. Hope it works!

My problems so far since the latest updates are this:

- only able to play a game for about 10mins or so before it messes up

- for example Destiny: some sound files pause but I can still play it then plays the sounds that were paused but it playa them all at once and scared the crap out of me the first time. If I leave a match/go to orbit while the sound is out then the game
freezes and the whole console stops functioning.

- apps/game apps won't load when selected

- Home won't load up after turning on the console sometimes. It'll promt me with an error window saying 'Home took to long to load' and I hit cancel as its the only thing I can select

- on certain times I can play Destiny for like 2-3hrs maybe while having the sound pause and play out but then the game freezes and I can't do anything or use any app and just turn off the console

I have done hard reset, unplugging everything and leaving it for a day (I left it unplugged for two days since I was away for the holiday) and yet it still does the same shizz. Can't play with my friends cause of this happening. I've changed my status in
the Program to take me out but its like an 72hr wait until I'm officially out but we'll see if that'll happen.

If all else fails then I'll continue saving up my money and get a PS4 as Sony seems to not have as many problems as Microsoft. All consoles have problems but Microsoft seems to have the most with each damnn update and its wracking my nerves.

If anyone has had any luck with their console working fine through some magic please comment this thread. And to the 'ambassadors' don't comment with the hard reset and other crap cause I've done it every damnn time and it doesn't do a thing.

yeh same problem. MS support trying to bluff that all will be ok. Nothing to do but wait I guess?
