Discus and support Nothing downloading from Microsoft store in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I tried to play Forza Horizon 4 online a few days ago and I couldn't load into a game, whenever I tried I got a message saying "there was an error...     Nothing downloading from Microsoft store


    I tried to play Forza Horizon 4 online a few days ago and I couldn't load into a game, whenever I tried I got a message saying "there was an error communicating with the server", I tried clicking 'Get Updates' on the Microsoft store and got an endlessly
    spinning circle, I then tried installing the Xbox (beta) client and it kept saying 'download starting', I've tried resetting it through settings, Windows Powershell and the WSreset.exe run command, none have worked, I later tried to install skype which initially
    had the same problem as the Xbox client but the next day, it was installed and I could launch it, I then retried the Xbox client which still didn't work, any help would be appreciated.

    No, it happens when I try to download anything from the Xbox app.

    If I try to download FH5 from the Microsoft Store nothing even happens, not even an error code, but I’m still able to download a everything else.

    Thanks. There was nothing in the queue in the Microsoft Store, no, i saw the same behaviour if i tried to download anything from there too. I resolved this in the end by just logging out of the Microsoft Store and back in again, though no idea why that

    Xbox app can't find a download location

    Thanks for the reply. When I go to download a game from the Microsoft store it asks me to select a drive. I do and it says installing for about 30 seconds to a minute and then nothing happens. I did this with two games. Trying to download them from both the Xbox app and the Microsoft store, There's nothing wrong with my laptop because I can download games from steam perfectly fine. In the settings games are set to download in my D drive which has plenty of space. Also saving things like pictures also works perfectly fine.
