    Nothing Connects


    All of a sudden my Kinect, external hard drive, and controller will not connect to the console. None of it is being recognized by the console. I've tried unplugging and replugging the devises in and rebooting the console. Nothing works. Please help!

    Nothing Connects

    To solve this issue I suggest you to follow these steps:

    Turn on the console

    Turn on the controller by holding down the Xbox button until it starts flashing then release.

    Push and hold the small black sync button on the front of the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing faster then release.

    Now push and release the sync button on the side of the xbox console.

    Then push and release the Xbox button on the controller.

    The light should slow down then stay on.

    Your additional remotes should work properly now.

    To solve this issue I suggest you to follow these steps:

    Hey Maitland 88,



    Sorry to hear of your frustrations so far. It sounds like a NAT issue that your experiencing. Are you able to host a match on multiplayer? Here is a NAT solution wizard that you can use to help you with this.



    Give this a go and reach back with your results to see if we need to troubleshoot more.

    Hello there!



    If you could provide us with a little bit more information, I.E Error codes / messages you see etc... that will help us narrow down the issue. In the mean time, please try all of the following:



    1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select All Devices.
    4. Select Gamer Profiles.
    5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
    6. Select Delete.
    7. Select one of the following:
    • Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.


    Now that you have done this, please
    Clear your System Cache
    (3 times). Following that, download your profile:



    Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller)

    Select Download Profile.

    Note Not seeing Download Profile? Press X to sign out of your profile.



    (Clearing cache in between has been proven to be quite successful)!



    Okay, if that doesn't work try testing your Xbox LIVE connection (a guide will be posted below) and if any errors show up, select that error on the

    Connection Error
    page and follow the solutions provided, specifically for that error.



    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings and then select
      System Settings.
    2. Select Network Settings.
    3. Select Wired Connection (if you’re prompted to do so).
    4. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
