Nothing but problems

I bought my Xbox in November of 2015. About 2 months after I got it I began to have problems connecting (which is my bad). I can never join a party if it's after midnight because "my network doesn't allow it" or I restart my Xbox and "party chat is blocked"
all of the sudden. I spend more time fixing this p.o.s than playing it. All of this being said I'm trading for a PS4.

Nothing but problems

I bought my Xbox One a little over a year ago. When i bought it it had a broken USB port, which i didn't think was all that bad. Until i just recently bought a turtle beach headset and now my controller needs an update to use it. Unfortunately you need to
plug to controller into the USB port to update it. My next problem is that my controller will not stay connected to my Xbox. About every 2 mins the controller will disconnect. My last and most frustrating problem is that my disc drive has completely broken.
I just bought the new Call of Duty game and got about a week out of it then I was unable to play it. these problems should not be happening to an Xbox that I bought a little over a year ago and I am extremely disappointed in the Xbox One.

Sorry to hear of your frustrations so far. It sounds like a NAT issue that your experiencing. Are you able to host a match on multiplayer? Here is a NAT solution wizard that you can use to help you with this.

Give this a go and reach back with your results to see if we need to troubleshoot more.

Ok, have fun on the PS4 its a decent system with a lot of really good games.

Keep in mind though that if its your network that isn't allowing you to join parties, then that wont be fixed by getting a PS4.

My guess would be someone put parental controls on the X Box; don't know why else it would block you after midnight or entirely off party chat.

sorry to say ps4 is not having those issues as i play it daily it is down very rarely and the interface works perfect . to say they have the same issues is laughable at best because when they do you see it on there forums as most real gamers who game on
all the systems speak up when there are issues and of late the x1 has been a mess from broken interface to whats happening again tonight were its shows you have no friends online and leader boards or anything don't work properly and tons of apps are down to
this has been going on since 2 in the afternoon and its 9pm now and still same B>S> . why do we pay i can get it if it was once every few weeks but this is happening 3 times a week and its daily when gamer pics don't load or leader boards don't want to update
and when i pay for something i expect it to work how its supposed to . The worst part is there bloody Microsoft and Sony is able to have a better service in the way that all Sony systems are one hive mind as i can see or check my data , downloads or trophies
from my ps3 , ps4 or vita or psp but the xbox one does not communicate its separate its bloody sad that my 360 can show my achievements and score for my windows games but the x1 cant and its so behind the time on the digital store front
