Heh, the only difference I see between Xbox One and PS4 versions of Watch Dogs is that I can see what's in the Xbox One version, whereas in the PS4 I can't - everything is obscured by shadows.

I'm going to be playing it on PC so not much of an issue. On PC I up the gamma to deal with the artsy fartsy overuse of shadows.

Folk have just dropped a considerable amount of money on a new piece of hardware and want to prove to themselves that they made the right choice.

When I bought my GTX760, you can bet that I was going through my games and ramping the settings up to see what it could do. Why should such things be PC exclusive?

@voteDC, wow, that's incredible. Great PC gaming there...but why chime in if ur PC gaming. We all know what u SPEND is what u get. These are console games tho...

 

People want to know they are getting bang for their buck. This is true for console or PC gaming.

Sometimes I think that people who started gaming on an Atari are the only ones who understand that this 1080p stuff is just plain stupid. It's all about the playability. It has to be fun and engaging to play!!! Most devs understand this. Certain gamers
do not.

 

"silver" account you are wasting your own time.

People here know that PS4 is more powerful than x1. They know that every multiplat has a higher resolution and/or frame rate on PS4. They've heard it time and again and they do not care. They have an x1 because they like kinect, or don't mind waiting 2 years
for Halo etc

Thanks for the reports. Gh0stz, thanks for the call outs. I didn't see your report on the matter but thankfully some others got it so you could spend your time bashing us instead. The dodger is taken care of and I'd wager that this is the reason that
they come back.

They just make a few controversial posts to get people riled up and take joy in the fact that they have the power to say something (while laughing I'm sure) as the rest of us get all up in arms, mods are attacked, people get upset, thread is dragged off
topic and their "enjoyment" takes care of itself.

If the PS4 was so much better they wouldn't need to come here to defend it because they'd be too busy playing it, instead they get bored and have nothing better to do than to come here and stir the pot. If someone keeps biting they'll keep posting it, that
is, of course, until the PET steps in which is coming for some of them.



Edit: Aplogies Cujo for the lock, but I agree. It's a number at this point. if it mattered 360 and PS3 sales would hit the dirt and they aren't.
