    My gamer tag is Melany2598 and when i changed it the second time it didn't show me it was taken. I want to change it again for free because i basically got ripped off.

    Thata because of the bew gamertag system allows you to have any name with a suffix and yes thats thebwarning you were given when changing your name

    It is upto you to look up a name beforrhand so sorry no refunds on name changes

    Common you had to have known that a common name like that was taken common use common sense

    Any name that isnt unique or spelled differently is most likely taken

    MS doesn't give warnings before any action is taken. Our warning is the XBL Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. If anyone violates those the XBL PET will simply just take action without warning.

    First off it’s not a scam, they warn you that the gamertag is taken so they will add a prefix before you accept the change
