    There is no official verification system on Live. It's just something people are adding on their own.

    It was removed if you attempt to put Verified ✔️ it will show up as a blacklisted word / phrase not allowing you to put it in anymore. Players who kept it still have but as i said it doesn't work no more

    They're just trying to be clever by changing their "real name" from the account.live.com settings to "verified". Nothing more, nothing less.
