Not Updating "MyVIP Star Rank" (Go Figure right??)

So I'm currently only "15%" into rank one. I've spent $530.37, which if you guys understood your own graph that would be 1 star and 88% towards rank 2. That is counting January to today.

Last year I was only a rank one, at the end of the year, though I spent $878.25, and that is only letting me see back to June 19, 2016.

The rank there would have been 2 stars and 97% towards 3.

(Yes all the $ amounts are pre tax, as you stated if you read your graph.)

I understand at the Xbox Live Reward Home base, customer service, nor math are in your forte but you could at least get this right. Go ahead and adjust my amounts and since you have access to my account go ahead and refund me the retroactive amounts owed
to me by your misinformed band of misfits.

Oh and the jokes you call Forum Ambassadors, this is a statement to Xbox Live Rewards "Employees(Should be more like volunteers)" so go ahead and stay out of this. k thnx

MyVip Star Rank not updating

From our FAQ:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

Since the majority of your purchases are consumables (in-game currencies like Crowns, Zen, etc.) they were not eligible for MyVIP and may be why you were expecting a higher MyVIP progress.

 

MyVIP Star Rank Not Updating

I posted earlier this week and was advised the following by

We have determined that some users were experiencing an issue due to some new purchase data we were receiving. We are deploying a hotfix to more accurately reward
MyVIP based off this new data. While this has not yet been updated live to users, I can confirm that your data under this new hotfix is being accurately Rewarded with MyVIP progress. We were incorrectly Rewarding you for past pre-orders, which have since been
removed. Apologies for the confusion. You should see this correct MyVIP progress within 2-4 days.

"

I now login and see my status is from 97% down to 30% or less.

Can you advise what happened as I was advised the correct MyVIP should be displayed yet now im missing a huge chunk of rewards!!

Based on your question and your purchases, it looks like you are not fully informed on how our program works. We see many purchase of consumables and pre-orders on your account since the beginning of this year, which are not eligible for MyVIP, as outlined
above. For example, pre-orders would be purchases like pre-orders of Ghost Recon, Mass Effect, and South Park. Mass Effect Andromeda Points, miscellaneous Gems, Credits, and packs, are all in-game consumables, and therefore not eligible for MyVIP.
