not the console appears on Windows 10 and does not let me connect via ip address help!!!

Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with setting up game streaming from your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC. If your Xbox app does not detect the console on your network, you'll have to obtain the IP address from the console.

Look at the WAN/Internet ip address of your router, does the ip address start with 10 or 172 or 192?

Remember its the WAN / Internet ip address

Don't post it up just say if it does start with 10 or 172 or 192

what exactly are you trying to achieve?

If the laptop and console are both connected to the same network the console usually is visible without the requiring an IP address.

You can also find the used IP address via the router (settings) which should have a list of all devices connected and their IP addresses. (Keep in mind that IP addresses can change)
