    I suddenly have this weird problem I have my cable box hooked into the xbox one problem is when it turns my TV and cable box on I ger an extremely dimmed TV for a good 20 seconds then it works fine. It never did this I tried to find the culprit, first I
    thought it was the tv, I tried to dupliate it with just the cable box and TV and there does not seem to be a problem here. I reconnected the xbox one and it does it again, every time. does anyone know what the problem is and if can be corrected or is this
    a known issue.

    not sure......

    why.... did you take it to someone other than MS? any repair not authorized by MS will be detected and read as having been a tampered-with xbox, and therefore will not be accepted by LIVE anymore. sigh

    ok i recently had a disc reader error and i no longer have a warranty on my xbox. so, i take it to a local computer repair place where they can fix it. i get it back and it work ok for about the first 10-15 minutes then im getting an error for a regular
    media disc when black ops is in the tray. so i end up taking it back long story short, i wait 3 weeks get it back said they have to replace cpu and i now have the red ring of death when it didnt have it when i took it in. gets better!! so now they want to
    refund the original $80 to fix it the 1st time i took it in and the seals on the front and the back part show no signs of the case having been popped open. they said their guy puts on new seals but i thought that was illegal unless authorized my microsoft.
    well they also have refused to give the name of the person/ business they sent my xbox to. my question is can they or anyone put new seals on an xbox other than microsoft?...... if this is a tech you have my cell number in my personal info text me!!!

    Nobody but microsoft are authorised to put "microsoft" seals on a console.

    Do not be tempted to now send the console off to microsoft for repair, because they will not touch it and probably ban it.

    There is something I have never understood about people and that is, Why is it that whenever they get a disc read error message on their 360 or DVD player they always assume the worst? When at times it can be nothing more than a dirty lens or a dirty disc.

    Several times on my 360 I have had it having trouble reading discs and all that was wrong with it was that either the disc was dirty or the lens was dirty. With my DVD lens cleaner it fixed my dirty lens in no time.

    The biggest issue with the new patch is that it removed elemental resistances. Meaning if you have 50% Fire Resistance or something like that, it won't work. The plus is, it doesn't work for the bad guys either so there is that. Seriously though, for a new
    character, you probably won't have to worry about that for a while, I was playing for some time before I found any resistance gear. The new patch will be out any day now, so I would say just patch up and play. By the time it becomes an issue for you the fix
    will be out. It's already out on STEAM, we're expecting it anytime now.

    Unless you plan on going through as a pure mage, you'll be fine.

    Heck. The patch will be out before you'll need any of those modifiers at higher levels. (I hope)
