Not sure the blocked Person is working or not....

I was in a lobby on COD, when a notification popped up and said, someone on your blocked list has entered the lobby (which was nice)

However it muted everyone in the lobby including everyone I was on wish, and it wouldn't let me unmute them without me leaving the lobby party first and starting agian, so a work in progress I think.

Blocking a player

I just double checked...the profile is still blocked however this person sent my son a message just last night. I blocked the messages but not sure what else can be done or am I missing something.

make sure that you do not share a mutual friend on xboxlive.

if you block and avoid someone and you both share mutual xbl friends that "blocked" person can still contact you until you remove said mutual friend or have said mutual friend removed the "blocked" person from their friends list.

besides blocking this person and submitting a player complaint you have done everything correct.

 

If you join a game with someone you've blocked, it effectively blocks everyone else in the game too so you don't have to hear any of their responses (if any) to the individual that you've blocked. Unfortunately, this does affect any friends you may be playing
with, but then again, that's what the party system is for.
