NOT HAPPY!!

Before upgrading to windows 10 my 360 controller and reciever worked perfectly fine on my pc for gaming... beautiful...

Try to connect them after upgrading and get the whole "Not supported by windows 10!" Seriously annoying so next logical step lets contact Microsoft to find out why or what can be done to fix this issue... to find out oh we have support and we'll even let
you think you can contact us but no!

Every time I open the customer support method that requires Microsoft staff actually talking to me oh you can't enter your details... We'll lock you out of that and then because you haven't entered any details we'll lock you out of the support systems...
Seriously *** off right now

i posted earlier in thye games section and havent had a reply so thought i would try my luck here any chance anyone has the fable 3 legendary weapons to trade across? all 50 for achievement if possible guys thanks alot in advance

Make sure that your computer is up to date, as well as your chipset drivers being up to date. Windows 10 supports both wired and wireless controllers, of both the XBONE and the 360. So the issue isn't with Windows 10 per-say, just with your current configuration
and/or drivers.

From what I've read, you are trying to connect your Xbox 360 controller to windows 10?

Here are the steps for that for connecting it:

1. Plug the Xbox 360 wired controller into any USB 2.0 or 3.0 port on the computer.

2. Windows 10 will automatically install drivers for your controller. Once you see the pop-up notification that the drivers have been installed, you can use your controller.

3. Open a game or the Xbox app and test your controller by pressing a button, pulling a trigger, or moving a stick on the controller.

Notes:

If your Xbox 360 wired controller is not detected by your PC, try plugging it into a different USB port, and then test it again.

If your controller still does not work, check that Windows 10 is fully updated. Install any updates and then try again.

Refer to your game documentation for information about how to configure the Xbox 360 controller for a specific game.

Drivers for Xbox controllers are included with Windows 10, so you won't have to download or install software othr than Windows 10 updates.
