Not signing in at all!

I have had this problem for 3 months now. When I click sign in it takes a long time. Then after leaving it for HALF AN HOUR it still won't sign in! I would understand if it was giving me an error message but
it's not. I have tried downloading the profile again but it still doesn't work, I have done a connection test and that says that everything is fine. My broadband is brand new so I don't think it has anything to do with that.

This all started when I turned my Xbox off for about 5 minutes and when I come to turn it back on again it wouldn't sign in. I have already tried disconnecting it from the broadband and then reconnecting it but that doesn't work either.

Please, if you have any advice share it with me as it would be much appreciated. I don't want to have to pay another £30 for a years membership when I did that at Christmas and three weeks later it decides not to work. Who agrees that Microsoft aren't very
quick at fixing things?

Cant sign in

when I try to sign in to Xbox live on backward compatible games it just keeps signing in,it doesn't let me sign in at all,it just keeps signing in,but not signing in.

 

Can not sign in to my Xbox

recently my Xbox will not let me sign in to it at all, can not play new games without signing in.

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your router and modem (if this is not a single device).

If you haven't already, follow the steps up front and let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.

Go to Xbox network settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional Settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults. If wireless: Reconfigure Xbox wireless settings. If wired: Press "B" on your controller and select
Test Xbox LIVE Connection (make sure you have a solid connection to LIVE).

Delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile, you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

Clear Xbox system cache (3 times in a row)

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
   
2. Select Download Profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

You may also want to check your primary storage device for contents that might have become corrupted. Corrupted contents are shown as an yellow exclamation mark.

i'm having the same problem as of today . all connections are good & all systems are up and running but i keep getting booted frm xbox live . do i follow the same procedure ?
