Not seeing anyone else in Destiny

Arent there suppose to be other players in the tower or in patrol mode?

I am only ever the single player in the game. There was one time that i saw people at the tower.

Each public event i encounter in patrol, is just me. Is there something wrong here? I set my destiny app to joinable, but im still the only player that i ever see!

I also tried to do crucible matches but the game never finds any other players....

Yeah as Elite said, its just a bug. Just like when it decides to show your gamertag in japanese characters

Wait how did you fix it? This is exactly what is happening to me right now and I can't find any info about this anywhere else...Please help!!

@ Haute Pinkk This just happened to me tonight. Do a hard reset on your X1 and reset your modem then reboot the game and you should be able to see people again. This issue seems to resolve around your networking and
Destiny's Servers. Also when in doubt do a hard reset it usually fixes everything lol.

 

all i did was fully quit the game, and open it again.

didnt need to restart xbox or anything

 

@ Encity5 Already tried quitting the game, and resetting the console but that didn't fix it...I appreciate the reply though

good luck!! be sure you do a hard reset on your console as well if you don't know what that is all you do is touch the power button on the console for 10 seconds or just wait till it shuts down. then unplug the power
source from the console and disconnect the brick and from the wall. Then wait 30 seconds put everything back together and reboot your xbox1. If your playing on the 360 clear your cashe.

 

Yaaay it worked! I also unplugged the ethernet cable from the modem (not to be confused with the router lol) for a bit and then plugged it back in...just fyi for anyone else having the same issue. Thanks again bullets
