Not saving games to console when play offline??

Playing a game on the xbox one console offline, so expect it to save games to the console, but save after save, after several hours of play and not one save can be found on the consloe. Where are they?? Why does it tell me each time it is saving and yet
they are not saved or not saved where I can find them? where would they be?? No connection to cloud and not there either.

help please

Never had that happen. You can corrupt a save by going to the dashboard if it's in the middle of saving, no matter which way you do it. That's why many games have a warning about not turning off the console or quitting a game when a game is saving.

It is, and always has been, perfectly safe to press the eject button in game as long as it is not saving.

Also switch the console to energy saving mode as automatic updates will eat up your download limit. In energy saving you will only download updates for games if you try to play them

Do you have the console set to offline mode? Is the issue happening in all games? Do you have the ability to connect the Xbox One to the internet to see if the game saves sync with the cloud and resolve the problem?

I've had this happen too with another game.

If a save is in the middle of being synced to the cloud when the console goes offline it can be permanently lost when you go back online

Best never to play with the console offline.

Apparently it should be alright to do so if you go to the network settings and switch the console to offline mode but if save is only partially synced when doing so it can be lost. I personally would never play while the console is offline. Just too risky

Online game play records the achievements in your gamertag profile. Game play when offline is recorded in 'offline game play files' and those must be transferred from the old console to the new by hard drive, USB flash memory
drive memory units or via the Cloud Save virtual storage device. Were achievements offline, or online?

You should be able to save while offline, but once you connect your saves will be synced with the cloud. There isn't a way to move your saves from the cloud to your console, although when you save it should be available to play offline.

the save won't transfer, when you enable mods on a gamepass game that save then becomes unusable on the console and for anything online.

Basically once you have modded a game you can only play that offline or on custom servers.
