You use a sms or a phone number

there is multiple methods how you use rhe verifcation codes I suggest you read the security proofs faq even if thry get ahold of your password they would still need access to your proofs

dont feel secure abou5 your email choices then simple use phone or sms or the other many options

if both emails get compromise I suggest you stop using a common password

I change mine every 6 months

even if your email is compromised no password change will occur if you enable proofs correctly if you have it to sms or a phone number

Is the phone number (eg cellphone) you are using capable of receiving SMS text messages? If it is a VOIP number, there may be a possibility that it won't work (eg I can't use a FONGO VOIP number for Twitter SMS messages).

Huge agree with this - SMS and phone verification shouldn't even be in the conversation when MSFT Authenticator is already enabled for an account. Personally, I won't use any service that "requires my phone number for security purposes." Yeah, that's not security - it's data mining, plain and simple. Rewards was one of the reasons I switched from Google to Bing, but if they're going to ask for a phone number in the name of security, guess it's time to switch to a more secure search option.
