    Not recording my captures


    So this is something that’s been really bothering me for a while. Many times the Xbox does not record the DVR captures for the right length of time. For example, let’s say I play a match in online PvP where I feel
    like I had some memorable moments that I would like to share. I open up my guide and select the “Record the last 5 minutes” option. After which I get a pop up saying “Clip recorded”. But it only records 7 secounds of the most boring stuff, its been happening
    for a good 5 months on and off, how do i fix this?

    Here are my settings:

    allow game captures: captures by me

    record what happened: 5 minutes

    automatically upload: captures by me

    game clip resolution: 720p SDR

    Capture location: internal

    xbox game bar captured video doesn't show application's icon

    Use OBS to record and set as display capture, gamebar will only capture application window and it ignores a lot of overlays, CAD apparently loves to draw elements onto overlay which some screen recorders ignore or cannot record. OBS will capture most but will also miss some.

    I just recently turned on my Xbox One today to check my system captures. And nothing but one screen capture I took a few days ago just showed up. No game record captures, as well. I think maybe all the screenshots and record captures got deleted by the
    new February 2020 update. I highly doubt they expired. The Xbox Live captures are still there, just not the internal ones. I need help!
