    title says it all.

    It says it's giving me 4% instead of 8% and beyond that, I haven't had any points added for my purchases in over a month.

    Hello Lew USMC,

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
    https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/
    .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
    the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    Also, we see that you have earned Credits in the past. For future reference, a complete record of all your Credit and Deposit events can be found from on your MyRewards page in the MyStatement section, if sort/viewed by lifetime.

    I have been a member since 2011 and have never earned a single point. Can you tell what is wrong with my account that I do not earn for anything I do?

    April's rebate has been delayed while they fix the issue with gold.

    Apologies for the inconvenience. There is currently an issue with some preview program members where new subscriptions are not correctly recorded. This was due to changes for those members in how subscriptions are stored in the database. We are working on
    getting this new subscription data correctly reflected. We are also delaying MyVIP for April until this issue is resolved, to ensure that you are rewarded at the Gold level. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

    Hey there Gunsolid,

    We have actually changed the way that tenure is calculated. It used to be that any gold accrued tenure but now it only accrues from paid gold membership subscriptions and that worked retroactively with everyone's accounts.

    The tenure only accrues time for as long as you've been a paying Gold member. Have you had Xbox Live Gold since 2011 with no interruptions?

    Ah, gotcha. OK, tenure is not accrued while the account is Silver. No worries, now that you are Gold, it will start going up. :)
