Not Recognizing Disks....?

The Xbox seems to work on its own schedule. Sometimes everything works without any issues at all. Other times I try to load a Blu Ray, or change my game and the Xbox will not play it. Eventually a screen comes up and says to please insert an Xbox One
Game, Blu Ray, or DVD. The disk will be in there but the system keeps saying insert disk!

Now the Xbox is not making any loud noises. The power brick is working just fine. No visual or audible errors of any kind other than this. Sometimes if I hold the Xbox Button down for 10 seconds, then reboot the system things work again. Two days ago
this happened and regardless of the reboot it would not recognize anything...games, movies...nothing. Now I get on last night to play Trials and I notice the Xbox has COD loaded and ready to go now. I hate to send the box back for warranty if it is now working
again...

Is this an Xbox issue, or an update issue?

black screen or TV not recognizing Xbox

I am having problems so the TV does not recognize the Xbox. I can not play because of this problem, besides not recognizing when it ends up recognizing that it is black screen

PLEASE HELP MEEE

 

How do I format an external Seagate hard drive that was used for Xbox One back to Windows?

Windows is not recognizing the drive.

Yeah, I have done all of that. Sometimes a hard reset works, sometimes it doesn't... Looks like I may have to send it in.

 

Try this:

Uninstall Blue-Ray App.

Go to Settings>Disc and Blu-ray Settings

Make sure there is a check at 24 hz.

Scroll down to persistent storage, clear it.

Go back to the home screen.

Make sure no disc is in disc drive

Power cycle console for 10 seconds

Power drain, and unplug everything

Wait for the light on PSU to disappear

Reconnect cables in this order: HDMI (both, if necessary), Kinect, Ethernet (if necessary), Power cord to console and directly to wall, (if possible.)

Restart console

Download Blu-Ray player app

Go to home screen, and test:

 

i have the same problem except my xbox never worked ! i just have it for 4 days now and yesterday my game arrived and it doesny read it says put in a xbox game or a blueray or dvd butt nothing works .

it keeps saying insert disc.
