Not recognising Gold Status and unable to play online

hello I’m looking for help/solutions to my account not being recognised as Gold. I’m trying to play halo reach on the Xbox one that is backwards compatible but it says I do not have Gold status ( i have purchased it several days ago and payment has gone
through). I tried to play another game such as Halo Master Chief Collection and similarly it won’t allow for online multiplayer. I get messages within game that says this account is not set for multiplayer or please check your account settings. I do not
have any family settings on, I have an open NAT and functioning internet and I definitely have Gold status on the account.

So far I have also hard reset the Xbox, deleted and reinstalled the game, deleted and redownloded my account and even purchased another month of Gold status too. I’m out of ideas here and would love assistance with this please as I used to love playing this
game online for hours back in the 360 days!

Gold is required in order to play online. Anyone who is not showing as gold might be using a trial subscription. Trials will not update your account status to gold, but do allow online play.

 

Unable to play online STATUS

Seen a rare few have this situationa. Since today I am unable to play any multiplayer on any game. It'll load the map for whatever game I play then go black and say lost connection to host. I tried Horizon 2, Battlefield 4, Sunset Overdrive, Evolve Alpha
and Advanced Warfare and all I can't connect to the Multiplayer.

My nat type is open, My 2 brothers are playing there xbox 360's just fine and I have never had a problem until today. I first thought it was just Advanced Warfare. I couldn't connect to a game. After trying for so long i went to play Battlefield 4 and wouldn't
let me go online. I have had a few little problems where it has disconnected me whilst playing single player of advanced warfare whilst downloading.

I have been on support twice today. We went through everything possible. Even to a point where I had to factory reset. Support said a there has been a number of situations of this today so they have reported to the engineers and it is being worked on. I
have got there email to tell them if anything changes.

This could be completely wrong but we did go through everything BUT i think it may have something to do with some error to do with some preview members. I had loads of updates recently whilst playing games and saving. The game would cut out and just install.
I got a feeling a preview update has some sort of error code. I can talk to friends do everything on home but cannot play any multiplayer on any game. Just my thought

Has anyone else had/got this problem and has anyone solved it somehow?

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please log in to account.microsoft.com then click on Services and Subscriptions and see what it says? If it says there is no membership and you did purchase it on your account or it says there is a full membership (and not a trial
