Not recognising free trial code for Gold

Discus and support Not recognising free trial code for Gold in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; can anyone help? I've input my free trial code for Gold it ahead accepted it although it recognising I now have a live account? Can't re input the code...     can anyone help? I've input my free trial code for Gold it ahead accepted it although it recognising I now have a live account? Can't re input the code as it says already been used? Any suggestions? Thanks

    reasd this mesage i got from xbox.com

    You have a Gold membership already

    Give this trial Gold membership to a friend who hasn't tried Gold, and let them see what they've been missing on Xbox Live. kidding Let them see what they've been missing "missing the Misery"..

    Pre paid codes can be added to extend a gold sub,free trials can't. A free trial isn't a pre paid code.

    Was it a gold trial, or a full gold code?

    If it was only a 2 day or 14 day gold trial, you can not get the free games.
