Not recived microsoft points

If you got an old gift card with 2100 Microsoft points on it, be aware that Microsoft changed to "real world currency" for their payment system in 2013. They gave a grace period to 2015 if I remember correctly to redeem old points cards, and they would be
converted to actual currency on your account.

It might be, that the card you tried to redeem won't work anymore.

In that case, the forum can't help you, as this is usually a "users help other users voluntarily" forum. You would have to contact the official support again at

But be prepared that they might be unable to add funds to your account with an outdated gift card that is still in Microsoft Points.

your tolerance for waiting.

Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for points to update. Don't worry about it, and check on it again later.
