Not Recieving Preview Invite

I have an Xbox one console, and I want to become a preview customer so my friend invited me to said program several times, however I still haven't receive the preview invitation from you so I can become an official member of the program?

Just recieving the invite doesnt guarentee you access to the preview program. If youve recieved the invite you then have to wait to be accepted by recieving a message to download the preview program update. If you dont get the message they your not yet accepted.
And since the just started recently accepting people again for the update there is already a huge backlog of people who have already been waiting for months to be accepted so you might be waiting in a long line of other people

 

Have been invited to Preview Program; but received no message?

Hi there recieving an invite to the preview program doesnt gurantee you access on the first invite. The july preview period has already started, there isnt much that can be done at this point. You can have your friend reinvite you later this month once the
july update goe public.

 

Being invited does not guarantee that you will be accepted.

They stopped accepting applications a while back as the program was full although I have heard that they may accepting them now although i'm not 100% sure

If they are you would still have to wait a very long time due to the backlog.

 

The only reason why I am posting here is because Cedric from Support told me "Upon checking here on my end, I found out that once your friend invited you and you receive the invitation from him, it will just be 24 hours or less before you receive the invitation
from our team or the message where you can download the preview dashboard app for you to become an official member. However since your experiencing the said concern, we highly recommend for you to reach out for our Preview team, so that way, you can personally
ask for the invitation and rest assured that within 24 hours or less, you will receive an email together with the invitation to become a member of the program"

It's my understanding that someone inviting you doesn't necessarily guarantee you access (immediate or otherwise) into the Dashboard Preview Program.

According to the official FAQ it states:

How will I know if I've been selected?

You'll get a service message from us on your Xbox One. The message will include a link to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard app. You'll need to use the app to register your console for Preview updates.

Additionally, due to the announcement of backwards compatibility there has been a significant increase in the number of dashboard invites being sent; its possible that the system is inundated or there is not a need for additional preview members at this
time.

Unfortunately, I don't know the specifics that occur behind the scenes that determine eligibility to the program. My best suggestion would be to continue gaming and see if any of your other friends could also invite you.

Phone/chat support are nothing to do with the preview program & that advice is outdated.

As I said,they stopped accepting people in a while back but that may have changed now.

Either way,the backlog of applications is huge so you will have a very long wait & that's if you are accepted which is not guaranteed.
