Not receiving party / Game Invites

I noticed about 4 days ago i had stopped receiving party and game invites.

I can send Messages, Party and Game invites myself and they are recieved

I can recieve Messages, I dont recieve Party / Game invites.

I have tried everything I can think of to resolve the issue but as yet nothing has completely fixed the problem.

NAT is open

All notifications are set to on in the options

I have tried Static IP address and tried putting the Xbox into a DMZ set up open ports

Hardwired Ethernet - Wireless, Hard reset the Xbox

Hard reset the Router.

Deleted and reinstalled Xbox profile.

Its now set to DCHP UPnP with an Open NAT (this is how it always has been with no problems until a few days ago).

After running various test I have found that after restarting the Xbox i receive one or two party invites from my sons Xbox on his account but then they stop coming through. I don't receive them from friends or from strangers ( I may get one through after
a reset, I cant tell 100% at what point it came through.. )

I have just sent 4 invites from my sons Xbox all 4 show up on the PC Xbox notifications but only 1 came through on the Xbox itself. Its now been nearly 5 days and its starting to really [MOD REMOVED] me off...

Any more help would be hugely appreciated..

Hey EternalBlaze90! Your network doesn't look like it should cause any issue. Are you able to try the console on a different network, like a friend's house (especially if you know they receive invites)? Additionally, do other accounts on the console have
the same issue? Post back and let me know!

Sorry to hear about the notification issue. Please try not to use inappropriate language as well, we try to keep things family friendly.

If you sign out of the Windows 10 PC are you able to receive these notifications on the console without any issue? Is the issue happening on any profile you try or just one in specific? Let us know!

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.

I have tried cycling the router. I'll check about the moderate open NAT settings. Maybe something I missed. It's weird because it's sort of random. Some days will be fine, and others I won't get messages or invites. Some days I'll get messages but no invites.

I had this issue a while back and found out my NAT would switch to moderate open quite a bit since my friends had low NAT we had trouble playing together. Try to follow Microsoft guide to opening up your router and also find out what you friends NAT is.
Have also tried cycling power on the router and modem?

Hey Fizzy!

Sorry to hear you're not able to get party/game invites. If you haven't yet, the first thing you'll want to try is to

power cycle your Xbox One. This can very often resolve a lot of problems so hopefully that helps. If not, try unplugging your Xbox from your network and then unplugging your network and resetting that as well.

Let us know if that helps or not.
