Not receiving notifications or party and game invites

Hi Kyle, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Sorry to hear about the notification troubles! By now the issue should be cleared up, but if you still can't receive invites, please give your Xbox One a full power cycle by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it powers off.

If you still can't receiving notifications and invites, please let us know so we can help you out.

I noticed the same issue after a recent update to the app. There is simply no longer an option to receive party invite notifications in the notification settings of the app.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to see your 'friends history'. You can try to see if you've received any notifications from them such as: messages, party invites, game invites, etc.

I have received party invites playing cod. They appear in the notifications area in the top left of the home screen
