    Not receiving notifications, messages, and invites on my xbox one


    Yesterday, I noticed that when someone would send me a message, I would only receive it through the smart glass app, and I wouldn't get the message and notification on my system. I'm not receiving game/party invites either, even though they are definitely
    being sent. I double checked, and my notifications are definitely on. Could this have anything to do with the preview update? I'm part of the preview program. Thanks!

    Edit: I called microsoft, they told me to post here. They also said I don't have any kind of ban on my account, so that's not the issue.

    Not receiving messages

    I am not receiving any messages from friends. Notifications such as party invite or game invite show up, but messages will not. I even went into notifications and seen that messages were on.

    Can't send or receive invites

    After the update, I am having trouble sending and receiving invites.

    My NAT is open

    Connection is good

    Notifications are on

    Have tried re downloading account

    My buddies are not receiving my invites as well as I am not receiving theirs.

    I can however, send messages

    I tried doing a power cycle and it didn't work I'm having the same problem and I'm part of the preview program

    Profile won't receive party or game invites

    That was what I tried in #4. Again, it doesn't seem to be an issue with the notifications as if that were the case the invites would still appear in my invitations section. I'm not receiving the invites at all. I get messages no problem, the notification
    pops up and everything.
