Not receiving messages notifications...

Anyone else? Since last weekend, message notifications are rarely received on the console, but come in instantly on the mobile app. If I go over to messages, they pop in. If I sign out of XBL and then sign back in, they pop in. Maybe it's an instant on issue?

Preview program? No.

Hard reset? Yes.

Just curious if others are having this issue. Thanks.

Not receiving notifications; messages delayed

I do not receive notifications (achievements, messages, invites, etc) on xbox one most of the time (sometimes they pop up though). Notifications are turned on in the settings menu. Hard resetting the console doesn't work. Also, incoming messages are usually
delayed by several hours (!). Any fix? It is so frustrating!

P.S. I made a similar thread earlier but didn't bookmark it. And I have no idea where to find your own threads on these new xbox forums. Searching didn't work.

Not receiving messages

I am not receiving any messages from friends. Notifications such as party invite or game invite show up, but messages will not. I even went into notifications and seen that messages were on.

Sorry to hear about the notification issues you're having. Can you try
Removing Your Xbox Live Profile, power cycle your Xbox One (hold down power button for 8-10 seconds), and then redownload your profile? Let us know if there's any change with notifications then.

Did the message you received have an option to download the Preview App? If not then the message you received was just a notification.

I'm sorry to see any notifications issues! At this time, we're currently investigating an issue with party and game invites, however messaging is working. I'd like you to try a few things for me, but wanted to note that there are current issues and you may
want to test this out a few times over the next day or so.

First, reset all of your
notifications settings, doing that hard reset, and then setting them back to what they were. You will want to do this on the Xbox App, too (under Settings).

After that, if they still aren't showing up, wire the console with an ethernet cable to your router if wireless, or vice versa. This will help eliminate any possible connection issues impacting you.

Lastly, make sure
the console is up to date. We have an update out this week, and it may help to resolve this.

Let me know how this goes! Again, if they aren't working for party and game invites, but messages work after this, wait a bit and then try again. It might be related to the current issue we're investigating.
