Not receiving Messages notification on my Xbox One but receive them on the beta app on my PC, ...

When I get on my Xbox One X I don't receive notifications when someone sends me a message I have all my setting allows popup notifications but I still don't receive them, I get the notification and the popup on my Beta app but that's it any solutions.

Not receiving any notifications on my Xbox but still get them on Xbox app. Some of my friends are experiencing the same problem. Help would be appreciated.

 

Xbox messages not being sent

Hello,

I am currently unable to send Xbox live messages.

I am NOT receiving an error code, my messages appear in my conversations as if they are sent out but noone is receiving them.

I have spoken with chat support and I am NOT banned or suspended in any way.

My network settings are fine and my NAT is Open.

This problem affects my account on my Xbox One AND on my PC via the Xbox.com messaging app and the PC Xbox One app itself.

Anyone ever have this before?

 

Hi! Did you give the hard reset/power cycle a try? It's a common solution for a variety of issues: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

 

Yep did a hard reset and unplug my xbox still didn't fix it.

Please do the following and your Notifications should start working again.

• Head over to Settings
• Preferences
• Notifications
• Turn them off
• Press and Hold the Power Button for 10 Seconds
• Wait 1 Min
• Turn your console back on
• Re enable Notifications within the settings

They should be working once again

Sorry to hear that you're having problems receiving messages on your console.

This may be due to the console not updating properly. I would say that the best thing for you to try to get past this issue would be to try what we call a soft reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games and apps.
