Not Receiving Invitations

I have been affected by a known issue as to not being able to recieve invitations. My best solution ive used is to go into my network settings and under the advanced setting going in there and reseting my mac address it doesnt mess with your connectivity
but resets your xbox then allowing you to receive invitations. I have only had to do this a few times but now the issue has somewhate resolved itself. If you continue to have this issue please contact support for further issues - Xbox One

why is that i randomly wont get notifications some days, i get them without knowing, u think xbox one wouldnt have these stupid problems, i mean never did on xbox 360

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console

You can reset, perform a full power cycle, or physically disconnect your Xbox One console to reboot it completely and fix many common issues. This process does not erase any of your games or data.

Restart your console from the Power Center

Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center.
Select Restart console.
Select Restart.

Note If the console appears to be frozen, follow the instructions in Physically power cycle
the console.

Restart your console from the guide

Press the Xbox button to open the guide and go to System > Settings.
Select Restart console.
Select Restart.

Note If you're unable to access the guide or if the console appears to be frozen, follow the instructions in Physically
power cycle the console.

Physically power cycle the console

Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Note If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Instant-On power mode, the above steps will shut the console completely off. Instant-On mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
Plug the console power cable back in.
Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

additional info. shortly were a live service issue were you notification wasn't delivered.

one of your best options is to hold down your power button for ten seconds and reload your Xbox.

Hey there bennyoneball,

Sorry to hear about the problem with not seeing the notifications during invites. To clarify, are you able to view the invites from the notifications on the dashbaord? If you clear the notifications form the console does that have any effect?
